[1] Movement & Principle:

In addition to being a prerequisite for our Pilates certification, it is the core of the Balanced Body Movement Specialist Certification. This course will guide you in recognising, improving and teaching fundamental movement patterns.
In our Balanced Body Teacher Training Programme, the Movement and Principles course forms the essential foundation. This course is a crucial step toward achieving Pilates certification and is also a central component of the Balanced Body Movement Specialist Certification.
  • Its primary aim is to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, enhance, and instruct fundamental movement patterns.
  • Throughout this course, you will delve into the theoretical aspects of Pilates and body anatomy, focussing on the fundamentals of form and posture.
  • Successful completion of this course opens doors to becoming an internationally-recognised Pilates instructor.
  • Furthermore, you have the flexibility to specialise in specific areas, obtaining certifications in Mat, Chair, and Reformer separately.
  • It’s not mandatory to complete all certifications at once; you can opt for just one or two at a time.

Pilates Mat is the foundation of the Pilates method. The Balanced Body Mat Programme includes the full repertoire of Pilates exercises, along with modifications and variations for a wide range of clients.
